Much as we'd like to just work on Alchemy Stones on a full time basis, fact is that we need to make a living, so we work pretty much full time at other jobs, and the stones are limited to what little time is available in between.

In the olden days, artists often had "patrons" who would sponsor their living expenses so they could develop their talents.

In 2019, life is not so easy: We go and work at our "regular" jobs, and art gets whatever remnants of energy we have left over at the end of the day. I won't get into whether or not that is "fair," it simply is.
